HOUSE RULES

In the interest of a harmonious coexistence of all house residents, mutual consideration and care is required.

I.Duties of care

1. Disturbing noises, namely loud slamming of doors, noisy running up and down stairs and activities that cause the house to shake or that disturb other residents with the resulting noise and disturb the peace and quiet of the home, are to be avoided.

2. Sewing machines, typewriters, washing machines, dryers or similar devices that cause noise or vibrations must be operated on sound-dampening surfaces, provided that these devices are permitted in the apartment.

3. Playing music is prohibited between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. and at midday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Radio and television receivers must only be set to room volume.

4. The use of showers and the filling and emptying of bathtubs must be done between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. with the greatest consideration for the neighbors.

5. Permitted celebrations must be announced to the other residents, and in larger rental properties to the residents of the same floor, the apartments below and those above, in advance. In any case, the quiet time must be observed from 10 p.m.

6. In the interest of fellow residents, barbecuing is not permitted on balconies, loggias or areas immediately adjacent to the building.

7. Motor vehicles, motorcycles, mopeds, bicycles with auxiliary engines or similar vehicles may not be parked in areas not rented for this purpose or in hallways, or in rented living or basement rooms - not even temporarily - without the prior permission of the landlord. Bicycles may not be parked in hallways or leaned against the wall of the house, and may only be parked in courtyards and other areas of the property with the prior permission of the landlord. Bicycles must be carried up stairs or hallways.

8. Waste, ash, harmful liquids, etc. must not be thrown or poured into sinks, wash basins, toilets, etc. Bathtubs/showers must not be cleaned with acids or other corrosive liquids, and their use for medical baths that contain harmful substances is prohibited. Their use for washing clothes is not permitted.

9. Skylights and roof hatches must always be secured and closed at night and in stormy and rainy weather by the person who is entitled to use the dry storage room.

10. Please note that commercially available accessories for bathrooms and kitchens are also available in adhesive versions. Any holes that are nevertheless required in individual cases must be professionally drilled in the joints between the tiles. Damage and subsequent replacement of the tiles are always at the tenant's expense.

11. Carpets, blankets and other objects may only be beaten in the yard or at another location designated for this purpose, and only on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and also on Wednesdays and Fridays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., unless the regulatory authorities stipulate otherwise. The same applies to the use of carpet beater vacuum cleaners in the apartment. Any dirt that is created must be removed immediately. Beating or cleaning out the window or from the balcony is not permitted.

12. To avoid the risk of vermin and in the interests of hygiene, tenants are obliged to regularly remove kitchen waste in accordance with the regulatory authorities' regulations. In the meantime, waste must be stored in closed containers in the apartment (not in the stairwell).

13. It is not permitted to throw bulky objects such as cardboard, glass, wood, rubble and the like into the garbage can. Official regulations, in particular the provisions of the municipal statutes on waste disposal, especially with regard to waste sorting, must be observed. Glowing or hot ashes do not belong in the garbage can.

14. Pets are not allowed.
